Aquaponics, is a food production system that combines conventional aquaculture with hydroponics in a symbiotic environment. In normal aquaculture, excretions from the animals being raised can accumulate in the water, increasing toxicity. In an aquaponic system, water from an aquaculture system is fed to a hydroponic system where the by-products are broken down by nitrification bacteria into nitrates and nitrites, which are utilized by the plants as nutrients. The water is then recirculated back to the aquaculture system

Change the future, one tour at a time!

We wanted to take a moment to share with you an opportunity for your students to see the future of farming. We built five thousand square foot commercial size Aquaponics Greenhouse in 2015. We grow lettuce, peppers, and tomatoes. We have eight fish tanks, to include fish of all sizes.  We have a conference room for students from the universities to come in and experiment and learn from our operation.  We supply two school districts, and five Supper clubs with produce are growing very rapidly. We have currently given over 400 people tours to include Schools, organizations, and food suppliers and

were given great reviews. As budgets are tight into today’s education

system we want to make this very affordable for your students to come and

experience the tour we keep our tour fees very reasonable year around,

especially for students and educators. The tour is one hour long which

includes, samples, explanations of plant and fish growth. It costs $10.00

for a student and $20.00 for an adult. The fee covers our costs of all the

BIO gear you must wear entering our greenhouse and more. We are

completely organic and so that is why we take the protection of greenhouse

very serious.

For more information feel free to call Beau or Lori 715-701-0415.

We know the school year is coming to end. We are more than welcome to

take appointments for next school year.

Thank you for your time. We hope to see you soon.
